I was logged in and on line in both sites and I tried to link to the Scott account while in the Fool website
I am perhaps confused as to what exactly you are doing or trying to do. If you are already logged on to both sites what do you mean by trying to link to Scott?
What internet browser are you using? I use Internet Explorer and am able to have this Fool Window open then click to open another IE window and log into my Scottrade account, look around, and then go back to the Fool window. Is that what you are trying to do? If you are logged into the Fool and then using that same window log into Scottrade you would lose your Fool connection and vice versa.
I would suspect it is a problem with your browser and not with either Scottrade or the Fool.
