It's kind of funny reading today his section about the good reason Mr Buffett had for dumping the entire airline position at a loss.
Yes, it was a good reason--but it's funny because the four airlines are up hugely today. AAL up 26%.
As far as I can tell, the market reaction is because they plan to restart some flights--55% capacity in July.
It's a long way back from there to steady profits, but we can wish them luck.

Brooklyn Investor:
On the 1Q earnings call, MKL said they dumped a few stocks they thought would be hugely affected by Covid-19. Here are the stocks they dumped:
Anheuser-Busch Inbev ADR
CDK Global Inc
Discovery Communications
Dollar Tree Inc
Hasbro, Inc
Kraft Heinz Co
Rockwell Automation Inc
Scotts Miracle-Gro Co
Unilever PLC ADR
United Health Group Inc
Airlines/travel I get. But don't some of these look like fairly good places to be?
What are Markel up to?

Maybe they wanted to raise cash and sold positions they felt were fully valued/overvalued (Dollar Tree, Unilever, UNH) or too much debt (BUD, KFT). I am not familiar with the other companies.
I did something similar with my portfolio last month, after the markets soared.
