Crossed something off my bucket list.

1. Spend three months in New York City.

Turns out 10 days was enough. A sudden rain storm is enough to make traffic a mess. Mentally ill folks, homeless folks on every street. While we doubled up on plays, events, museums, foodie experiences, there was too much stimulation. noise from all the construction, honking, traffic.
Cranes building mammoth somethings everywhere.

Back to alaska for a couple weeks soon.

Now to turn topic to finance. My house value has risen almost to 2006 high sale price. I could walk way with a chunk. I started looking up I5 2.5 hours north of Seattle, close to the Canadian border. Blaine to Bellingham. I couldn’t believe the cost of homes there. I could not afford decent housing. I guess the coast is the coast no matter how far from big city.

I think most of us seniors are now stuck, aging in place.
