But if you hold your account at Vanguard and you wish to own this fund, why pay a brokerage commission when you can purchase the MF shares at no trading commission.

Vanguard doesn't charge trading commissions for it's own ETFs for Vanguard account holders.

In the end, for this fund at least, there's really no difference for me. Except maybe the ability to sell intra-day, in a down market.

I still need to check my other holdings to see if there's a lower cost ETF, especially for the funds I don't have Admiral shares in.
