Any suggestions on what to do with a ceiling fan that makes a slight pulsating buzzing sound? It seems to be balanced OK and it sounds like an electric motor sound. Thanks in advance,Greg
Is it a Hunter? If not, replace it with one.-Agg97
What brand is it?We had a buzzing, motor hum problem with a Home Depot Windward II fan. Did some research online (complaints.com I think) and found quite a few folks with the same issue. Returned it with no problem - home depot did not blink an eye when we said it was defective.Replaced it with a Minka Aire. We also have a Hunter and it's a great fan too.
We also have a Hunter and it's a great fan too.In our two homes, we have installed Hunters - our latest purchase was a large one (62") - it doesn't wobble or buzz - even on the highest speed and despite the fact that we have a long down-rod (~2').Jennifer
