Can any tax experts help me. I have large capital gains losses that I am carrying forward (short and long term). Does interest from corp and shorterm bond funds wash those gains?

'Fraid not; interest and capital gains are two different beasts, and are reported separately on your 1040. Nor will the reduction in dividend tax apply to interest payments from bonds.
