Can anyone tell me what the best credit card for frequent flier miles is? Are there any with no annual fee? Also, do you buy everything on the card (including groceries, gas, mortgage) to get the miles?

1) It depends on a lot of things. (which airline do you use most frequently, which airline has a hub nearest your home)

2) AMEX Membership Rewards is the most generic airline miles program. (can be transferred to most airlines - NOT American Airlines though)

3) All mileage cards have an annual fee.

4) I buy groceries and gas on my mileage card, and most of everything else as well. (including I-bonds) How can you pay your mortgage on a credit card ???
