I am covered under a 403b plan for my job however I am looking at the potential of receiving some income as an independent contractor this year (stipulated by the contract, no benefits, 1099, etc.). With my independent contractor income can I open a SEP-IRA as well as fully funding my 403b to the annual limit? I assume a Roth IRA is still feasible as well while my AGI does not rise into the phase-out levels.
