I have come here to whine and hopefully get some advise.

Whine part:
My son had a beautiful 1995 T-top Z-28 Camaro that was paid for. Unfortunately, while it was parked at the curb at his apartment a BIG tow truck (that wasn't coming for his car) backed into it pushing it back over 6 feet. My son had his car towed to a person we trust to do the estimate. They said because there was so much structual damage the insurance company will probably total it. This makes me sick because I know that no matter what the insurance company comes up with, my son is going to have to come up with money to get back what he had. He had almost every whistle on it. I am very thankful that no one was hurt.

Asking for advise part:
I was hoping to find information so that he can get the most from the insurance company. If anyone else has had similar dealings with an insurance company or know's where to get advise. Are there things we can say or do to get them to pay more? One of the problems I feel is that my son's insurance company and the tow trucks both have Farmers Insurance.

Thanks for listening.
