I don't know what to think about the press release other than it looks bad. The word I'm hearing is that the bit about hiring an Investment Bank is indeed indicative of looking to sell the company. To whom and at what price is anyone's guess. It doesn't seem to me to make much sense to sell at this level. The company does have cash on the books, no debt, and it continues to sign up contracts. The press release was nevertheless a shocker. Sigh.
