you know I have both and for me cast iron is so much easier to keep clean..
I have both too. I think some people struggle with seasoning the pan to begin with and knowing how to clean it. AC *has a friend that can't conceive of cleaning without soap*
I wash my skillets and chicken fryer with soapy water sometimes., It doesn't hurt them at all if you have it seasoned right. Mine are old, like me, well seasoned.. lol...I always dry my skillets over on the burner of the stove. Then I rub them with an oiled paper towel..works for me.
