It sounds like maybe what you're looking for is Quicken Direct Connect. You can get a list of financial institutions which offer it by going to

http://www.intuit.com/banking/filist.html

Choose 'Direct Connect' in the Choose Connectivity Type pull-down menu and click Search. You don't have to specify any other options.

Quicken Direct Connect is very nice. I feel it is superior to Quicken Web Connect or downloading .qif files. I had it at Salomon Smith Barney but left SSB due to their obscene fees. I do miss using Direct Connect though.
