Last night I finished this year's "Cherry Project"...

I picked about 20 lbs of cherries from my tree, gave some away, ate some as I worked, spent three evenings pitting and freezing, and ended up with 17 1-lb bags of cherries in the freezer and 1 in the frig for tonight.

Lots of work, but I'll have cherries galore for the next year! But, considering my pay grade, I estimate they cost about $12 per lb. (You can buy them in the store for $3+ per lb.)
