Talking about the new Chevy Silverado, the marketing firm who produced the series of adds for it did a fantastic job. John Mellencamp's song Our Country in the back ground, with captions that say "This is our red carpet", "This is our break", "This is our focus group", "This is our truck".I get intense goose bumps, shivers, a sudden feeling of excitement each time I see one of those ads run on TV. It's a hard-working American truck for the hard-working American man. I love it!Too bad I don't need a truck because I'd probably trade in my 2004 Chevrolet Impala (bought brand new almost 3 years ago) for a new 2007 Silverado. Or maybe not. I like the ads but it doesn't mean my head is not screwed on strait. ;-)
