Hi, all -

Haven't been here in a while - at least 6 months - but this chicken recipe caught my eye and I just had to pass it on. It sounds wonderful, and just the thing for those people who can't tell when poultry is cooked thoroughly but not dried out!


Baked Stuffed Chicken

3 - 4 lb roasting chicken
1 C melted butter
1 C stuffing, however you wish to prepare it
1 C uncooked popcorn
Salt/Pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Brush chicken well with melted butter, salt and pepper.

Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn.

Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the front of the oven.

Listen for popping sounds. When the chicken's back end explodes, blowing the oven door open and propelling the chicken across the room, it's done.
