I am really confused about which accounts I should have.

Currently I have:

Employer Sponsored 401k
Traditional IRA (not contributing to it, just an old 401k)
Commercial post tax investment -- I put about $1000/month into here.

Issue 1: Employee Sponsored 401k:
I have 6% dollar for dollar matching. So obviously I want to contribute all 6%. I have the option to contribute pre/post tax as well as roth 401k. I'm not sure what this is or why I would want to use a roth 401k.

Issue 2: Roth IRA -- should I have one? I think I'm getting close to the income limit for single/non-married filers.
