I love my Disney stock, but the Mouse isn't the only corporate animal that can play the synergy game.

Comcast has a great program in place called Symphony which coordinates leverage among its media platforms to reduce the risk of investment in filmed-entertainment through efficient and appropriate-level marketing.

Here are a couple articles that mention it, the first being about the release of the "Pets" sequel, the second being about the DreamWorks Animation project involving the dragon character from earlier in the year:

Aside point: Glad CMCSA purchased DWA, but that also would have been a great asset to have for Disney's portfolio; surprised Iger wasn't visionary enough to keep that company out of the hands of a competitor. Especially given he was willing to spend so much for Sky, DWA would have been a small buy (relatively speaking, naturally). It also would have been great to have to supply Disney+ as well as theaters with content...
