Frozen Dead Guy Days
Nederland, Colo.
Frozen Dead Guy Days is held in honor of Grandpa Bredo, aka Bredo Morstel, who was cryogenically frozen after he died eight years ago. Morstel's son later transported his body to a shed in his hometown of Nederland, Colo., where Grandpa sits on blocks of dry ice. Tours are available, and the annual festival includes coffin race, a parade and a look-a-like contest. The next festival takes place March 8-9, 2003.

Yo, MacMurph

Catch the international flight to Denver (DIA), catch a milk run to Glenwood Springs. Catch a cab to the Hot Springs Pool, change into your swim suit, go out to the big pool, (can't miss it - it's big) do this when the snow is flying, night is best, hop in, work your way East to the warm end, when your ready, get out and walk to the small pool, get in and keep moving East until you hit the right spot, (you'll know when) let the snow freeze your hair but stay shoulder deep in the water for an hour. After you get out, dry off, dress and get to a PC, re-post as to how hot you would like to be in Colorado.

I live in Aurora... just relocated last year.

We ought to get together and do lunch!

Check out a few of the Fool meetings we have had here... go to Colorado Pages and then there are some 'friends' linked.
