I found today's conference call to be informative to me as a new investor. However, while I understood the remarks made by the president, a lot of what the CFO had to say was in "financial-ese".

Can anyone help me out to understand a couple of things?

1. What are "operational footprint changes"? What does "footprint" mean and is this good, bad or indifferent?

2. There was a small box on one of the slides that talked about something being reduced by 25 basis points (Automotive) and 45 basis points (Controls). What are basis points, and exactly what was being referred to here? I missed something there.

Thanks for your help!

Linda
