There is no gun show that I am aware of that prohibits the exhibitors from bearing arms that are loaded.

Therefore, the exhibitors who HAVE federal firearms licenses already, are not prohibited from carrying loaded weapons, but the people who cannot be vetted - people off of the street - are prohibited from carrying loaded weapons.

If a person has a Concealed Handgun License, and is stopped by the police for any reason, that Policeman will run the license tag first, along with the Drivers License of the bearer. He or she must be informed by the holder of the license that they have a CHL, and whether they have a handgun in the automobile where it can be accessed. CHL licensees are bound by very rigid rules when interacting with police or in any situation where concealed weapons are concerned.

The very fact that you put this up as some sort of 'example' of how the firearms community does not see loaded weapons as somehow 'safe' is exemplary of your complete lack of knowledge.

That your post received a lot of "recs" illustrates the abject ignorance of laws on the part of the most of the liberals here. It certainly does nothing to establish any 'moral or mental superiority' as you so mistakenly believe.

While gun shows cannot control who comes into the show, they can control who is armed at a show. That is the intent of the request you tried to turn into a talking point.

The managers of the shows can't say that a person can't come in if they are a felon. All people have the right to walk through the door. It's just that not all people are welcome to be armed.
