Where can I obtain the symbols and quotations for convertible notes? Mergent Bond Record (formerly Moody's) indicates that the majority of convertible securities are now "convertible notes" rather than "convertible debentures". Some symbol look-up tables (e.g., Yahoo) will provide the symbols for bonds, including convertible bonds, when you enter the name of the company--- and you can then get a quotation for the bond by entering its symbol. However, I haven't been able to find the equivalent for the convertible notes. Mergent Bond Record doesn't include the symbol, and the quotation is nearly a month obsolete by the time it is published. What resource (other than calling a broker, which gets tedious when you want to compare several possibilities) am I overlooking?
