Ever since my wife burned herself trying to move a pot of boiling water with corn in it, we've enjoyed corn on the cob cooked the easy way: In the microwave!

Just husk your corn, wash the ears, and place them in a dish or microwave-safe bowl with a tiny bit of extra water, and microwave them for THREE MINUTES PER EAR. Easy as that!

Try it. I just nuked a single ear for 3 minutes and it is delicious, but we've done up to 6 ears, 3 minutes each (18 minutes, obviously, for 6 ears).
