Cooking corn on the cob is easy in the microwave. Friends taught us long ago that you husk what you want, wash it, place it in a large enough microwavable tray or dish with just a little water, cover with plastic wrap, and then nuke the ears for 3 minutes per ear -- regardless of how many are in there. Comes out delicious!

It's even easier than that.

Just microwave for 3 to 4 minutes, without shucking. No water. No wrapping. When it come out, you cut off the stem end of the cob, and the shuck just slides off, with all of the silk.
