So next March Costco changes from their American Express Card to a new Costco VISA card.

What, if any, effect will this have on my credit score (CS)?

Further, AmEx is hitting me with new offers for a new card. I assume this would have some effect on my CS if I accept. WRT my credit score, does it make a difference if I accept an offer now or later when the current card becomes inactive?

I'm not too worried about the CS as I don't anticipate creating any new debt. CS is ~ +775. Down from +800 since retiring 5+ years ago.

I pay all cards in full every month. Really only two out of six cards that I use monthly. The other 4 I use about once a year to keep them active.

FYI, only debt I have is an auto loan a year in to a 5 year loan @ %0.9% and only took it out to show capability of paying off an installment loan to help maintain CS.

IF I were to pay that off early how might that effect CS?
