Current solar activity is far less than what it was during the modern maximum of the 1960's

One would have to 'assume' that all solar activity 'cocktails' are made of the same materials and emits the same gama, e-ray etc. Maybe we need more lead in the air? :)

(be careful of what is written in Wikipedia. It is ok for a college paper, but, any yahoo with a cyber-diploma can write/edit there)

...That is the vagrancies of winds in the central pacific obliterate any temperature signal from the sun.

I would suggest that the sun creates the winds. Heat rises, earth spins from underneath them, cool/transfer and come down to earth at a different latitude-earth traveling at a different speed. etc. That all temperature signal is obliterated? not likely, too much to assume.
