Today I tried to call two major corporations customer services lines. One (P&G) to find out if the were discontinuing a product (Cheer laundry detergent) and the other (Chef's Choice) to find out whether or not they have a replacement part for an electric kettle I have. Both customer service lines put me through a series of prompts to get where I needed to go only to put me on hold for around five minutes before telling me that there wasn't a representative available to talk to me so please call back later.
