Hey all...my dog Mason's nails have grown enough that they just have started clicking....an when I trimmed it with the safety-style nail clippers I still cut the quick. Poor boy. I know I can buy over the counter styptic (sp?) powder, but I think either baking soda or baking powder does the same thing. Can anyone confirm?

I broiled hotdogs with cheese just for him, when I trim them later today or tomorrow, hopefully the yummy treat will help make it easier.

Susan
