A new data analysis from the Peterson Center on Healthcare and the Kaiser Family Foundation documents the reality that 234,000 of the covid deaths in the US since June 2021 would not have happened had those people been vaccinated. This represents 60% of the deaths that have occurred since then, and about 25% of the nearly one million covid deaths here since the pandemic began.

“Since vaccines became widely available last summer, a total of 389,000 adults in the United States have died of COVID-19, and 6 in 10 of those deaths – about 234,000 deaths – could have been prevented by timely vaccinations,” the analysis states. “This analysis underscores the importance of continued efforts to increase the number of people vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.”

Sadly, most of the people listening to this are among the vaccinated community. Preaching to the choir.
