I suspect that the reason this board isn't more active is that the Fool message boards for INCY and CRA mirror the companies themselves.

CRA (Venter) is all talk, while INCY is quietly laying the groundwork for greatness. I heard on the news that GW Bush beat out Craig Venter for Time magazine's person of the year. The magazine listed Venter as a possibility, saying that HE mapped the human genome. As if he did it single handedly--sounds like an exaggeration Al Gore might make. Unfortunately Venter hasn't shown how he intends to turn his headlines into cold hard cash.

I'm beginning to wonder if Dave Gardner has strayed too far from quanifiable data in the Rulebreaker picks. He has talked with mystique and arrogance about the fact that he has no idea how CRA will make a profit, or exactly what CRA's business plan is. He seems to think that it doesn't matter, as long as CRA's fearless leader has some kind of mystical vision and quest for control and power.

Sounds like Al Gore to me.

When you've got the goods, you don't need to spend a lot of time bragging about them. I'm betting on this horse.

Just one Fool's opinion.
