Although the Brazilian team did appeal, the Jury expressed sympathy and regret the incident, but said the results can unfortunately not be changed. World Record Holder Paul Tergat of Kenya was 10th.

Handball: Croatia grabs the Gold, Germany wins Silver. They previously beat Germany for gold at the 2003 World Championships.

Wrestling: 74kg: Joe Williams finished 5th in the competition.

Volleyball: Russia claims the Bronze Medal in their Match against the Stars and Stripes.

That wacko who grabbed Lima is the very same wacko who ran out on the track protesting something at the British Grand Prix last year and ran up the track with race cars whizzing by him at 200 MPH. Almost got himself offed and endangered the drivers in the bargain. And only got 2 months in the pokey. Ridiculous!
