In an attempt to devine the results of the election tomarrow I check my two favorate sources the Iowa Prez Futures Market and the Ohio Poll
Check out the Iowa Electronic Markets Graph:
http://128.255.244.60/graphs/graph_Pres04_WTA.cfm
Pay partcular attention to the second graph "Individual Contract Prices" and within THAT graph pay attention to the magneta and light blue lines marked:
DEM04_L52: Kerry receives the biggest share, but less that 52%, of the two-party popular vote
REP04_L52: Bush receives the biggest share, but less that 52%, of the two-party popular vote
These lines are converging day by day with Bush showing a razor thin lead.
Moving over to the Ohio Poll at: http://www.ipr.uc.edu/Services/OPPressRelease.cfm we find that Ohio is also in a dead heat. As Ohio goes so will the election as I think Kerry has Penn and Bush has Florida.
Personally I would like to have a 4 point or more win for one or the other, given the frothing at the mouth, rabid, hypertense, whiny and just plain silly behavior that both sides have engaged in.
Sadly, this does not seem like it will be the case.
