A cute chipmunk we call "Deckster" (because he loves to scurry around on our deck) is back. I have a couple of big pots of tomato plants out there and one was starting to set the bigger tomatoes. (Another pot has cherry tomatoes forming on it, too.)

I looked this morning and found two of the larger green ones on the deck, apparently knocked off but not eaten. At least I think they were knocked off and not blown off by wind. I know he'll grab and eat a small cherry tomato or two this summer, but these were too big for him to tackle!

C'mon, little guy; stick to the cherries when they ripen! We don't mind losing one or two of the little ones; there are always plenty more for us.
