Dell rose $2.23, or nearly 11 percent, to $22.87 after issuing a news release indicating it will reaffirm third-quarter earnings estimates later in the day.

ohh yawn...
they won't give next quarter's guidance till they report earnings in OVER an month

apple reports like in two weeks....

dell is STILL in their quarter RIGHT now
whereas apple finished its Q last week

so apple ain't warning (which is reaffirming its guidance...)
and Dell is saying "Exverythings fine"
even though 1/3 of their quarter is IN THE FUTURE
and since dell has more often then not (80% of the time? plato go grab those figures...)
warned in the the last 2-3 years
i wouldn't put too much "stock" in dell reaffirming
their Fifteen cents a share EPS

does dell still have $1.81 in cash for $22 shares?
will apple still have $11 in cash for $15 shares?

am i selling my jan Dell$10 puts? no
not yet
we have to let this shortcover rally
happen first
let the options players get paid
generate cash
and then
ohh and also the longBond holders too
with the rates falling so hard the $$$ value
on the bond says "sell me sell me"
and if you didn't know
i am 40% in longBonds
and 10% in cash
and, today or tomorrow
i am going to sell those bonds
half of em at least
(rates fall bond value rises)
and i will then have largeLiquid cash
at the same time that the options players do

and when they have largeCash to buy in
they demand lower prices
just as October earnings come out....
