Democrats just HATE these tax cutting initiatives.

As in OR. Since I've lived here, the voters rejected a tax hike that was put on the ballot by initiative. The legislature went ahead and passed a tax hike a few months later anyway, signed by a governor who ran on a platform that included "no new taxes." It didn't take long for another initiative to repeal those tax hikes to be approved.

A new tax hike was just passed last week. I expect it to come before the voters within a year. Oh, and the Dems are doing everything they can to make initiatives harder to create, as they're no doubt getting tired of being overriden by the public.
