Now that illegals aren't getting into the United States and are piling up in Mexico, it is Mexicans who are getting POd about illegal immigration. The Mexican government isn;t happy about that either.

So any day now I expect to see that Mexico is starting to build a wall across their southern border, at their expense.

You realize that the people at our border are not illegals but rather people knocking on our door and trying to request asylum? Right? You understand the difference?

"You realize that the people at our border are not illegals but rather people knocking on our door and trying to request asylum? Right? You understand the difference?"

No, most of the people are 'economic refugees' coming here for jobs. Only jobs.

A very few are valid asylum seekers.

Of course you are wrong.

But then they are still just knocking on the door and asking. So they are not illegals at all.

The statistics are that almost all who get temporary admission fail to show up for their hearings when they are supposed to, and those who do show up are mostly not found to be eligible for admission.

And of course, millions have simply snuck across the border illegally.

It's a racket.

Few have been knocking. Most have been sneaking across the border, by the million, illegally.

It's only because Trump is effectively closing the border to that kind of illegal entry that the fake refugee ploy is being tried.

Of course, few ARE refugees. Most are economic migrants and will be found ineligible for admission.

But few will show up for that determination. Their angle is to be released and then disapppear into the population as millions have done already.

You are just ignoring reality.

That statement, of course, is a lie. The vast majority do show up for their hearings.

That statement, of course, is a lie. Two lies, actually. The majority of illegal immigrants enter legally and then over stay their visas.

The other lie is the number of asylum seekers has been declining for years:

<<Court attendance by all types of immigrants
According to Justice Department data from the last five available years, around 60 to 75 percent of non-detained migrants have attended their immigration court proceedings. That’s determined by subtracting the percentage of judgments entered against migrants in their absence (known as an in absentia ruling) from total judgments entered.>>

Liars figure, as they say.

For example, in the above, they first deduct all the people who lost their cases BECAUSE THEY FAILED TO SHOW UP! Then they noted that a further 25-40% failed to attend their court hearing. How many do you suppose actually appeared to be deported when that time came?

This shows the common tendency that when your case is weak, lie about it.

I wont accuse Syke6 of that, he's just grabbing on to the lying statistics the public is being fed by open border advocates.

You think that matters? It's just one of many con games illegal immigrants play to make suckers of the People and Senate of Rome ---- I mean the United States.

There are lots of them, and I'd say liberal advocates of o0pen borders support pretty much every one.

That statement, of course, is a lie.

That, of course, is what Republicans today do. It is their first order strategy to every issue - lie, lie, lie. The GOP has become nothing but unethical, immoral slime.

Shucks, that's what goes on in politics. You think you are going to get the truth FOR FREE?

And the posts on this thread by liberal news media outlets claiming that there are no problems with illegals carrying out their promises to report for court dates or deportation are obviously areas where the truth wont serve for liberals.

Thanks for again illustrating the moral equivalency between Republicans and Democrats. If you claim that only one party has a tendency to lie, YOU ARE LYING!

There's a reason why you have to separate the wheat from the chaff on many things in life....

they are all icky brown people.

My wife is a brown person from the country of Panama.

Not only have we been married for close to 30 years, but we have two sons. The oldest is a military officer. The other will be one in 5 months when he graduates from the Academy.

Both boys were at or near the top academically, athletically, musically and morally.

My wife works 7 days a week, most weeks. In a few months, she should have 10 years of perfect attendance at her job.

Fool on,

Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in his sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.

I learned that song in Vacation Bible School in deep red Alabama.

Here at Christmas, why don't we all try to agree that children should not bear the grief of our differences on immigration. Let's all get together on that and provide love and care for children who have found their way here to our arms regardless of their powerlessness to decide on their own which laws to follow?

Merry Christmas. There is room at the inn and there are plenty of mangers. How about it? Spot

I'm all in favor of it ----if they will agree to be deported bright and early on December 26th.

If it's just another excuse to enable the open borders crowd, then no.

You can see the lies of open border advocates on this very thread, should you care to read it.

The claim that those making refugee claims and paroled into the United States mostly show up for their scheduled hearings is a lie. They mostly fail to show up for the series of legal hearings their claim creates, and then fail to show up top be deported.

A liberal "study" used highly selected data to try to "prove" the contrary, but that's just fake news and probably thousand of headline reading news outlets read it as true news rather than fake news.

That's the way the spin game is played all too often, by liberals and conservatives both.

In short, there tends to be a moral equivalence between liberam and conservative political advocacy. I assert THAT is the TRUTH!
