I also read through that thread, and I was taken aback at how you were so thoroughly flamed.

You have every right to feel proud for helping your sister; as I remember your post, you said you didn't really consider it a loan, that you might not see it again. But you went ahead and helped your sister out anyway out of love and consideration.

With this post, you are now in the position of second-guessing yourself, remembering other times you've been "taken advantage of."
With family, with people you love and care about, you don't need to do any second-guessing.

Your last paragraph in this most recent post says it all.
