Disney shuttering at least 20% of Disney Stores as it shifts focus to e-commerce

Disney is closing 20% of its brick-and-mortar Disney Stores before the end of the year as it shifts more focus to its e-commerce business.

The company will shutter at least 60 Disney Store locations in North America before evaluating potential closures in other parts of the world.

Disney plans to improve its current ShopDisney website and increase its product assortment to include more adult apparel collections, streetwear, premium home products and collectibles.
