With all your training and awareness of the protocols, you should really just do it yourself. Or pay full fee for what you want. Or go through formal channels and not circumvent all of it because you think being a volunteer means being an easy sucker.

This is the umpteenth time you're calling on this volunteer network and don't want to pay the requested (not really optional) fee to cover expenses to bail you out, yet again, of another one of your botched attempts to show to the rest of the world what a wonderful altruist you are.

You just like to take the credit, but you don't want to do the dirty work, the heavy lifting, or the often countless hours of late night sleeplessness to do what is sometimes necessary.

Yes, we all know the 1,001 problems and difficulties in your life and the obstacles preventing you from doing it yourself. Never mind that most (if not all) the volunteers in the network are dealing with similar issues as you have, but aren't shirking their efforts.

You've come full circle from manipulating and burning out all the volunteers in your region on the matter and you've come back to asking for me for help.

Unlike all the others ...
scratch that, most of the others ...
scratch again, some of the others, I am not so forgiving, nor forgetful of your previous excuses, claims of "I don't know how to do that," "... doh ..." and "do I really have to?" with your pathetically mournful and false-frail-victim expression as you put your newest, unwitting volunteers through the hoops for you.

Almost none of the volunteers I've known who've dealt with you will answer your calls. In fact, I got your message from the previous volunteer that you contacted again because she doesn't want to have a confrontation with you and just told me two hours ago about your most recent, apparently dire, situation. Again.

I'm now in the camp of the more seasoned volunteers who will look you in the eye and tell you exactly where you can stick your manipulation attempts.

Like you've said since the beginning, you have the training. You can do it yourself, you just don't want to. Or shut up and pay the appropriate fees to have someone else do it.

Your cheerily misanthropic volunteer
