Does anyone know of a tax program that properly handles wash sales? I have one stock that I
traded 80 times and there was always this wash sale problem with many overlapping trade
dates. It is just too complicated to do on my own without a program to help.

Our D-1 EXcel97 spreadsheet program at http//www.edcosoft.com/d1.html will find all your wash sales and provides instructions and the format for YOU to adjust them, then calculates line 2 and 9 of Schedule D and prints the D-1s for you.

I'm not so sure a program could *properly* make the necesary adjustments, and considering that there are several ways that make all, or some, of the adjustments redundant, you may not want to adjust them all.
