Doing the calculations in a spreadsheet program should not be too difficult.

A key question is, if you pay the taxes on the IRA balance to put it in the Roth with $$ from outside the account, would those $$ otherwise be spent, or would they be invested in taxable investments?

From there, it is straight forward to construct two spreadsheets showing likely value at say age 65 given reasonable assumptions about tax rates now and at age 65 and likely returns on your investments.
