Hold on....I do know how to spell "Duopoly."

However, I'm in the office listening to Sirius Gold after a long and wet day, and contemplating the latest news from the satellite radio competitive front:

"We are setting a new benchmark as the first automaker to launch standard XM satellite radio across our complete model lineup," said Robert Cosmai, president and chief executive officer of Hyundai Motor America."

This is terrific news for XM, and it shows that its management team isn't asleep at the wheel.

As of now, XM is beating the pants off SIRIUS with respect to technology and access to their product. XM has the personal portable "walk-about", it is now part of Yamaha's home theater receivers, and a factory-installed standard feature of every Hyundai that will be made for 2006.

Sirius, meanwhile, has no personal portable at this time, and is mostly installed in its group of auto manufacturers as a dealer installed add-on, or factory installed option.

I don't want to seem a trifle impatient,
