(I post too much trivia here, but here goes....) :)

Another "Note From On High" today regarding salaried benefit changes:

1) Ford to resume stock plan contribution, but eliminates 2007 merit increases.
2) 30% increase in employee contributions to health coverage. This is a $300/month increase for me....
3) Prescription co-pays go up. No surprise there.
4) Retirees 65 and over to lose health care coverage June 2007. Ford will contribute $1800/year to help retirees buy whatever coverage they deem necessary. I'm not sure how big a hit this is, because Medicare kicks in at 65.
Work has significantly slowed down today as folks try to figure out how this affects them....
