He holds dual US/Turkey citizenship and talks of running for the U.S. Senate.

If elected, would he be the first dual-citizenship holder to be in the U.S. Senate?

Anyone else wonder what ties he has with Erdogan and the Turkish gov't?

NOTE: U.S. representatives must be U.S. citizens for seven years to qualify for office, and senators must be U.S. citizens for nine years, according to Article I of the Constitution. AFIK, dual citizenship isn't mentioned.
