Is a DRiP with a brokerage that offers DRiPs free of charge a good idea? I know that the commision would be a disadvantage, but the bookeeping would be so simplified come tax time. Also the security of knowing that the shares are protected and insured is another advantage i have considered. What is your opinoin?
