DS is in a quandry about how to fill out a job application.

He was offered a job, a pretty good one in engineering. However, he was given a job application to fill out as a sort of formality, according to what the hiring manager told him. The problem is that in the last four years, he was fired twice, and he was recently diagnosed bipolar but has probably had symptoms for at leat 4 years.

First time was in 2010. He worked for 15 months without a two day weekend or holiday, then was fired on a pretense ("making a threatening gesture"--one the boss used with him regularly) when the quantity of work to do was clearly running out.

Second time. Bipolar symptoms were full fledged and he got distracted while running a machine, breaking it. This was when he got the diagnosis.

What to put on the application? It pointedly asks if he was ever fired.
