Brokerages are not "one size fits all."

Only you know how much service you can afford or need.

Brokerages which offer inexpensive trading commissions generally offer less support service. After all, service costs money; you get what you pay for.

If you need lots of answers to specific questions like, for example, oh, let's see..."can I trade on margin in an IRA?" ....you just might not be ready for a no frills $5.00 per trade broker.

Now, go to the bottom of this page, click on TOP 25, click on the board of DISCOUNT BROKERS, and read a few hundred opinions.
