DW has ruined my credit score (and her own, and DD's). Now that (I believe) she has ceased this madness, and I have begun to meet our credit card and bank loan obligations, etc., how long will it be before the situation changes back to the EXCELLENT credit score that I used to have? Am I going to be saddled with this for a very long time?

It depends. What derogatory marks are on your credit report? And what do you consider a 'long' time? And what do you consider an 'EXCELLENT' score?

Most derogatory marks (late payments, write-offs, etc.) are required to be removed from your credit report 7 years and 180 days after the missed payment that initiated the derogatory mark. Bankruptcies can remain for up to 10 years.

As the derogatory marks age, there is less impact to your score. However, predicting exactly when may be able to achieve a particular score is dependent on a lot of things other the derogatory marks. If you are really interested in seeing how your credit score will change, I would suggest looking at some credit score simulators. and (among others) have simulators that you can use to estimate scores.
