I have been reluctanct to accept e-mails from CAPS participants because I can't reply without revealing my e-mail address, which I don't prefer to do for privacy reasons. This doesn't mean that I don't want to communicate, though.
Now, with the Blog feature, I will allow e-mails to be sent to me, but I reserve the right to answer the e-mails with a Blog post rather than a personal e-mail.
I will respect the privacy of the sender by just posting enough of the original message to allow the original sender to recognize my Blog post as a reply to him or her (perhaps including the participant's TMF screen name, unless requested not to), and also to give enough context from the e-mail for the Blog entry to make sense to other readers.
Best wishes,
DB Bob
