Salomon Smith Barney analyst Jill Krutick cut her earnings per share estimates slightly on Hasbro for 1997, but raised her estimates for 1998 and 1999. It was reported on CNBC and Reuters that she cut fiscal 1997 earnings estimates to $1.65 per share from $1.72 per share, and raised 1998 estimates to $2.05 from $2.00 and 1999 to $2.40 from $2.25.

The analyst's revised earnings estimates follow Hasbro's announced restructuring to cut costs and streamline operations.
