I thawed a bunch of thin-sliced pork chops, smeared them with some pressed garlic & grated ginger, pan-fried in almond oil, adding soy sauce as they were cooking.

Meanwhile the hubster steamed fresh green beans in the microwave, and I baked a couple of small Japanese sweet potatoes in the toaster oven (cut in half the long way & also smeared w/almond oil--it was almost as if they were large "fries").

Once plated, the sweet potatoes & green beans partook of the pork juice & soy sauce.
